The cold days are leaving, and summer is just around the corner!
We have an exciting new offering for our family guests!
Starting this summer, Casa Vista Verde is pleased to offer a children’s camp option. This includes one activity per day, approximately two hours long, so younger visitors can immerse themselves in the local island life, make new friends, enjoy water activities, and see the local wildlife up close! Parents may participate as space permits- or for our more independent young guests, solo participation is acceptable!
Guests 6 yrs old and up can have the time of their lives with unique personalized island activities set up just for them. This Summer Camp Package is $250.00 per participant. This includes one activity per day for 5 days, as described below. The Summer Camp Package must be reserved one week before your arrival day to ensure and program the instructors and logistics needed.
Snorkeling experience-Duration time 2 hours
Snorkeling classes will be provided by a Certified Diving or Snorkeling Professional. Gear and safety practices will be practiced in our pool first before heading out to the snorkeling sites. Our boat is operated by our certified captain, and along with the Guide, camp participants will get to explore our amazing reef and sand patches. Eagle rays, starfish, coral formations and turtles are regular sightings, only 5 minutes away from our dock! Parents can come along if space available. Boat capacity is 6 guests.
Horseback riding-Duration time 2 hours
Horseback riding is located next door at the Roatan Beach Club! Along with a Vista Verde staff member, join an hour tour, riding both on land and in the water! Spend your remaining time enjoying the many fine resort activities at the Beach Club.
Kids yoga and active skills – activity duration 2 hours
The yoga class is at the villa, either on our pool or beach area. A 60 minute active and relaxing yoga with a 15 min break in between, with a certified local instructor for a healthy, fun experience.
Recycling Art Class– activity duration 2 hours
Recycling art is a trending activity on the island, that helps increase children awareness on the impact of plastic and non-recycled waste on our marine environment. The instructor and class first survey the local shoreline for materials that can be used for their project, but if there’s none to be had he will bring some for the class. Create a souvenir of your Roatan visit!
Native animals and sloth park-activity duration 2.5 hours
Located 12 minutes from the Villa on French Cay, visit this local sanctuary with a Vista Verde guide. You’ll meet parrots, monkeys, tree sloths, and other interesting native Honduran animals! Tour followed by a boat ride, beach visit and snacks on the private island of Big French Key!

At Casa Vista Verde, our mission is to help you build lifetime vacation memories. Our greatest confirmation is when we receive comments like these:
“Our stay at Casa Vista Verde on the beautiful island of Roatan was a vacation of a lifetime. The villa itself was amazing. Built on a hill overlooking the second largest reef in the world, the villa provided breath taking views which never got old. The layout of the villa was excellent, five bedrooms, each with a private bath. The patio with an infinity-edge design pool, outdoor spa, super comfy chaises, and tables and chairs was the place to be when we weren’t experiencing the remarkable attractions around the island. If the pool wasn’t enough, the beach was a short walk down the stairs from the villa. The things to do on the island seemed to never end, which is why we are planning our next trip to Roatan. The villa supplied kayaks were great fun, paddling around the cove. We jet skied for an afternoon and took a sunset horseback ride on the beach and through the water to a neighboring island which was beautiful. The snorkeling was perhaps my most vivid memory. The beauty found in the reef, a 10 minute boat ride from the villa was something I have never experienced. The food was amazing. The great people at the Casa Vista Verde provided a daily breakfast which rivaled any 4-star restaurant in the states. We enjoyed dinners prepared by chef Francisco, who made grilled lobsters tails over risotto, filet mignon, grouper, and ribeye steaks. Each meal was served like a work of art. The staff at Casa Vista Verde was incredible. Ana was our cruise director, and her attention to detail was perfect. From coordinating transportation, meals, and provisions for our stay, we knew we were in a well-oiled machine that went on like clockwork. Sayda and Joselyn were working their magic in the kitchen. Hector and Neptali took care of the the grounds and the kayaks and other boats. The villa was always clean and the staff managed to do our laundry each day. This is the first vacation that I went home with a suitcase full of clean clothes! Our week at Casa Vista Verde and the island of Roatan was a trip of a lifetime!”
Now as we care for our last guests of 2018, our beach will be ready, our pool will be ready, our staff is always ready, the only thing missing here is You! Looking forward to serve you soon…
