Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everything was perfect! All the recommendations were just spot on. The beach and La Sirena, snorkeling, diving, golf, fishing, the dolphins, whitewater kayaking, jet skis. We had SO much fun and still had enough time to come back in the afternoons and enjoy the pool and house. I can’t say enough about the meals. Joselyn is pure magic in the kitchen. Thank you everyone – Ana, Joselyn, Hector, Neptali, Wendy, Saida. You all contributed so much to making this a perfect trip! LSF, USA, Jun 2017

The perfect island getaway

We had such a great experience at Casa Vista Verde and did so much on and around Roatan that I can’t help but leave a detailed review! But if you are too impatient for the long read, then here’s the summary: Casa Vista Verde is beautiful, spacious, and very well appointed. The staff provides a full-concierge level of service that will make your trip stress-free. Roatan itself is full of possibilities for adventure, relaxation, and fun! Our trip could not be any more memorable! Here’s the breakdown… The property: Casa Vista Verde is centrally located on the north side of the island. The main house sits atop a lush, landscaped hill that enjoys plenty of sunlight, a relaxing westerly breeze, and gorgeous panoramic views of the water. The sun peeks over the water at sunrise for one of the most splendid sights on the island. (To think, we got to enjoy it 7 times!) The house is well appointed, with a large, modern kitchen, new laundry facilities, comfortable beds, big ceiling fans (and powerful air-conditioning units for those who prefer it). The lower level has a game room, television, and wet bar (we were definitely too busy to make use of this, but it’s there!). For the sun-worshipper there is a beautiful sundeck, pool, hot tub, and a two-level, airy but covered patio. The lower level features a grill and dining tables for cookouts, and the upper level houses a day bed for the perfect afternoon nap! There is also plenty of space for some yoga. (Ask Ana about a session with one of Roatan’s private yoga instructors). Stone steps lead down the hill to a terraced beach cabana complete with a kitchen, bathroom, and indoor and outdoor showers. From there, it is only a few more steps to a private beach, complete with a dock to hop on the boat, jetski, or kayaks that are available to guests at Vista Verde. One of Vista Verde’s biggest perks is the peace, quiet, and privacy afforded by its unique location. The nearest visible neighbor are probably half a mile away (I couldn’t find any…) and evenings at the house are only disturbed by the island breeze brushing through the palms. But if you’re looking for fun, it’s a short 30-minute drive to the West End of Roatan, which features the island’s nightlife, dining, and tourist crowds. For restaurant choices, we wholeheartedly deferred to Ana’s recommendations, and loved Thai Place. KN, USA, May 2017

Amazing luxury-level private resort for everyone

Casa Vista Verde is amazing! It’s a luxury-level getaway that offers something for any and all travelers. They have the most caring and attentive staff–including a phenomenal cook/maid, Jocelyn (and sometimes her sister Wendy if the dinner is bigger), and cater to any dietary restraints. The house itself is beautiful and overlooks the water. The property is kept pristine and you can pick coconuts and bananas from the trees. Down at the beach, there is a cabana with a fridge, bathroom, hammocks, etc., so anything you could need is just steps away. Ana, the property manager, is amazing. She set up all our activities – we did golfing, jet-skiing, snorkeling, boating, scuba-diving (and my S.O. who is not certified took lessons and was able to dive with us!), Iguana sanctuary, visited the West End, mangrove tour. All of it was organized by Ana so we didn’t have to lift a finger. You can also get massages, do yoga, and just relax on the beach if that is what you prefer. This place is perfect for groups with a range of interests and athletic ability. Hector and Nepta are happy to take you around on the boat or set up the jet-ski for you. The guys are so sweet and are happy to help. It’s about a 25-35 min drive to the West End for anyone that enjoys bar hopping, but we only went once during our week. There was so much to do at the house, we didn’t feel it necessary to drive elsewhere. However, if you want to hang out at the touristy end, it’s close and convenient and the staff will also drive you- so you don’t need to worry about a designated driver. Roatan itself is an incredibly safe island. This is one of the best things about it– it’s small, everyone knows everyone, and people are very friendly and helpful without any motive other than trying to be nice. I am a runner, and ran along the main road without getting bothered – I can’t say the same about running in the states, and definitely cannot say the same about other south/central american countries I’ve visited. (And I’ve visited quite a few). All in all, everything about Casa Vista Verde is amazing. I’d recommend it to anyone/everyone. BD, USA, May 2017

2 years ago we got engaged here, and we could not have picked a better place to have our wedding – so we came back. The house, the food, and most importantly the staff have been AMAZING! We thank everyone involved in helping make our day perfect. Spending a few days here after has been a dream! I hope we can make it back someday! Thank you all!
