At Casa Vista Verde, we want all our guests to have a great time, but we recognize safety always has to come first! That’s why we protect our guests and workmates with our annual Emergency First Response and CPR training, certifying that we can provide help for whatever emergency might arise. Congratulations to Joselyn, Neptali, Hector, and Ana for completing the 12 hours of intensive training, to keep you safe and secure during your visit!
We came to Roatan with our 3 children, their spouses, and 2 grandchildren to celebrate my retirement. Everything was perfect except the week ended so quickly!! We loved snorkeling and spent a lot of time with Hector on the boat. The starfish were incredible! We also snorkeled at Big French Key which was great. We all loved holding the sloths and monkeys at French Key! But we also loved being here and soaking up the sun at the pool or the beach. However, the reason our trip was so incredible, was because of Joselyn, Hector, Ana, Adele, and Neptali. They are what make Casa Vista Verde so special! We loved spending our vacation here and hope to return soon! BF, USA, Nov 18
Jocelyn, we have had the most amazing time this week because of both of you and Hailey! The meals you fixed were amazing! We have never eaten so well! It was so nice getting to know you and your family. Thank for your everything you’ve done for us this week! BF, USA, Nov 18
Learned about Vista Verde from Google. Very positive first impressions on arrival, lived up to our expectations very well! Amazing staff – 10! Amazing value – 10! We enjoyed the snorkeling, meals and activities the most. Can’t think of anything to make it better! Will absolutely recommend to our friends and associates! If we come back to Roatan, we’d absolutely stay at Casa Vista Verde again! We loved it! KF, USA, Nov 18
Our stay was perfect!! We loved the house & the grounds. The swimming pool and hot tub were used everyday. We especially loved the meals. Jocelyn and Hector prepared amazing meals for us. Loved the grouper meal the best! We also loved how clean Adele kept the house and how she always had clean towels. She kept all our rooms nice and clean.
Ana, of course, did an outstanding job recommending activities & keeping things running smoothly. We loved the snorkeling & sloths the best. We weren’t as impressed by the mangrove tour. There was too much trash in the water – can see why we shouldn’t use plastics or Styrofoam. Also the amount of fish and variety was better in the ocean. But that was a very small concern of ours. We might have gone on a bad day. We loved it here and hope to come back again!!! BF, USA, Nov 2018
Asa, we had a great time in Roatan. Everyone loved it! I think my favorite part was going out with Hector on the boat and snorkeling. He took us to different places each time and the reef was amazing! Others loved sitting around the pool and just relaxing. We had planned to go to the west side but decided to stay around the house instead. We didn’t want to do the car ride because it was too long and why leave paradise?
The folks that work there are incredible. Hector and Jocelyn cooked for us every night but one. The food was better than a restaurant. And we all appreciated not having to cook or clean up. Adele made sure we always had clean towels. It was so nice going up to our room at night and having our room clean and the bed made.
Ana, of course, really helped us a lot plan our excursions. She’d look at the weather forecast and recommend what days to go snorkeling based on the weather conditions. We especially liked how she’d go to the store for us each day if we needed more food or drinks. That was extremely helpful for us!
We have gone to Tulum, Mexico and Ambergris Cay, Belize on vacation . We all said we like Roatan the best. The house, the location, and the outstanding staff made it our best trip ever! Thank you so much! Your house was perfect for us!!!! KF, USA, Nov 18
Ana, we loved our time in Roatan! We had the best family vacation!!! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. Unfortunately it is very cold here and snowing! Hard to believe a few days ago we were swimming and now we are bundled up in our winter coats. KB, USA, Nov 2018
Perfect vacation! Our family of 10 stayed at Casa Vista Verde for a week. We had an incredible time snorkeling, swimming, holding sloths and monkeys, getting massages, and doing yoga. During one of our snorkeling trips Hector took us to an area where there were lots of starfish. We saw so many beautiful fish and the reef was amazing. The staff is what makes the villa so special. Ana comes everyday to make sure you do any excursion you’d like to do. Jocelyn and Hector are incredible cooks and they made dinner for us 6 nights. I know everyone in our family gained weight while we were there. The food was delicious! The first night there we had grilled lobster tails and steak! Be sure to have Jocelyn make the grouper….our family favorite! It was wonderful not having to do any dishes or make a meal! Adele made sure we didn’t have to do any laundry. Every day she made sure we had clean beach towels to use and our rooms were clean. I worked for 25 years as a teacher and used my unused sick leave to take my kids, their spouses, and my grandkids to Roatan. It was worth every penny! We have so many wonderful memories of our time there and how incredible we were treated! Thank you Asa! LK, USA, Nov 18
Thanks Ana! Our trip was VERY special and a lot of that is due to you and the whole Casa Vista Verde staff. You were all very attentive and helpful in so many ways! I now fully understand the phrase – “the trip of a life time” because that is exactly how I express last week’s visit to Roatan. All our luggage arrived with us and we were home and in our own beds by midnight! Thanks again (to everyone) for everything. It is blowing snow here in Virginia (where we are) and in the 30’s. Back to wearing coats!!!!
Asa: Your beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our 50 th wedding anniversary celebration with our children and their families! Your excellent staff could not have been more accommodating and hospitable!!! I have enclosed a couple of pictures. Take care and blessings, MR, USA, Nov 2018
Jocelyn – THANK YOU for all your delicious secret recipes, and your wonderful company and conversations. You are so lovely, so nice, hardworking, and studious! I hope that you ACE all four tests! Talking with you has been one of my favorite parts here. Love to you, Haley, and Hector! Thank you Gracias! Miss Adeli, everything always looks so beautiful – thank you for cleaning up after us, I hope we weren’t too messy! Love, MF, USA, Nov 2018
Our 50th wedding anniversary with our two children, their spouses, and our 2 young grandchildren was absolutely perfect! Ana, Jocelyn, Hector, Neptali, and Adeli were fabulous. Jocelyn was fantastic, with her culinary expertise at every meal! Dazzling. She worked so very hard. Thank you, Asa Davis, for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Your attention for detail is evident in every aspect! We would love to return!!! RC, USA, Nov 18
What can I say? This place rocks. Felt like I was home with the attention to details in Casa, food, service, hospitality. All great! This is the place to be on the isla. Thanks to Ana and her caring staff – the best! Now on to home and the gym to work off the amazing food. A little place in paradise, for sure. RP, USA, Oct 2018
Dear Asa, this has been a much anticipated trip to celebrate David’s 75th and his chance to celebrate on Roatan was a diver’s dream come true. The gracious, welcoming hospitality of Vista Verde, its serene and exquisitely beautiful grounds and location and its ability for us to feel very much at home here will remain equally as strong in our memories as will all the fun we experienced on Roatan. A huge thank you for all the TLC of your phenomenal staff. We were treated like royalty and we truly appreciated everything. We hope to return one day! D&SB, USA, Oct 2018

At Casa Vista Verde, our mission is to help you build lifetime vacation memories. Our greatest confirmation is when we receive comments like these:
“Our stay at Casa Vista Verde on the beautiful island of Roatan was a vacation of a lifetime. The villa itself was amazing. Built on a hill overlooking the second largest reef in the world, the villa provided breath taking views which never got old. The layout of the villa was excellent, five bedrooms, each with a private bath. The patio with an infinity-edge design pool, outdoor spa, super comfy chaises, and tables and chairs was the place to be when we weren’t experiencing the remarkable attractions around the island. If the pool wasn’t enough, the beach was a short walk down the stairs from the villa. The things to do on the island seemed to never end, which is why we are planning our next trip to Roatan. The villa supplied kayaks were great fun, paddling around the cove. We jet skied for an afternoon and took a sunset horseback ride on the beach and through the water to a neighboring island which was beautiful. The snorkeling was perhaps my most vivid memory. The beauty found in the reef, a 10 minute boat ride from the villa was something I have never experienced. The food was amazing. The great people at the Casa Vista Verde provided a daily breakfast which rivaled any 4-star restaurant in the states. We enjoyed dinners prepared by chef Francisco, who made grilled lobsters tails over risotto, filet mignon, grouper, and ribeye steaks. Each meal was served like a work of art. The staff at Casa Vista Verde was incredible. Ana was our cruise director, and her attention to detail was perfect. From coordinating transportation, meals, and provisions for our stay, we knew we were in a well-oiled machine that went on like clockwork. Sayda and Joselyn were working their magic in the kitchen. Hector and Neptali took care of the the grounds and the kayaks and other boats. The villa was always clean and the staff managed to do our laundry each day. This is the first vacation that I went home with a suitcase full of clean clothes! Our week at Casa Vista Verde and the island of Roatan was a trip of a lifetime!”
Now as we care for our last guests of 2018, our beach will be ready, our pool will be ready, our staff is always ready, the only thing missing here is You! Looking forward to serve you soon…
Our sibling reunion in your beautiful home was wonderful. Your exceptional staff took care of all of our needs happily and efficiently. Beautiful views just sitting and relaxing. we took advantage of Ana’s suggestions and took an island tour, saw the monkeys and sloths, mangrove boat tour and snorkeling, snorkeling trip, Big French key and fishing with Justin was excellent. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely recommend to others. BG, USA, Sep 18
From the moment we were picked up by the house driver at the airport until the handshakes and hugs goodbye, we were treated to smiling expert hospitality. There are many beautiful homes on Roatan; you can see many of them if you take a water tour. What makes this beautiful place special is the staff. The home is clean, bright and spacious; plenty of room for our four couples. The grounds are well tended, and the well-featured cabana (kitchenette, restroom with shower and dining table) is ideally situated above the white coral beach. A short stroll down the beach brings you to the resort next door complete with a restaurant / bar and all manner of activities, from watercraft rentals to horseback riding. We spent many hours in the infinity edge saltwater pool, as well as the spa. Views from the upstairs balcony are stunning: the blues, greens and gentle breakers over the coral reefs of the Bay of Honduras as well as the ever-changing cloudscape are on full 270 degree display. In the evenings we retreated to the basement for a hearty game of bumper pool and big-screen TV. Well off the beaten path, this home is ideally suited for leisure. Although the house was a sanctuary, the staff gladly chauffeured us to some incredible locations: the monkey and sloth rescue, West End and West Bay, Big French Key, an awesome Mangrove forest, multiple snorkel sites, and deepwater fishing. The warmwater snorkeling and healthy reefs are a delight to explore. With both breakfast and late lunches, always with local provisions and flavors expertly prepared provided by the awesome kitchen staff, we rarely needed a dinner out. Our custom experience would NOT have happened without the dedication and response of the expert manager Ana and her team, though. Heartily endorse this experience! DB, USA, Sep 18
Asa, Thanks so much! We had a dream vacation – once in a lifetime. your home is breathtaking and the staff could not be nicer or more help. We are already planning for our next trip and what we will do then. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness. God Bless you and your family! JB, USA, Aug 18
We echo the previous sentiments. What a beautiful home in a gorgeous spot. We could not have been treated with more kindness and respect. Thank you.
As a member of this family we are so grateful for the opportunity Vista Verde provided us. Your home is stunning, your staff exceptional and Roatan, a beautiful island. Thank you.
We had a wonderful time and very relaxing week. Your home here creates a very welcoming and warm environment. The staff is fantastic and responsive. Our trip here will create a long list of memories! BF, USA, Aug 18
What a GREAT week spent at Casa Vista Verde! Roatan is a beautiful island and the people are beautiful, friendly people. Every activity was fun and memorable. pool time, cabana time, meal time, time at the west end and the dolphin encounter, snorkeling by the reef, tubing behind the boat, splashing on the jet ski, zip lining, time with the sloths for the kids, the mangrove tour (a unique, fun experience) and did I mention “meal time?” Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. For the young children, their parents and the two more “mature” couples, the activities were tailored to each accommodate each age group. It has been an incredible vacation that will last a lifetime in our memories! Thank you very much to Ana, Jocelyn, Saida, Hector, Neptali and all of the support staff at Vista Verde!! DG, USA, Aug 18
Casa Vista Verde, Roatan – Beautiful island, amazing villa with an incredible staff Our stay at Casa Vista Verde on the beautiful island of Roatan was a vacation of a lifetime. The beauty found in the reef, a 10 minute boat ride from the villa was something I have never experienced. We golfed at the world class Black Pearl Golf Course in which each hole offered stunning panoramas of this island paradise. We enjoyed the beach at West Bay and shopping and dining at West End. The food was amazing. The great people at the Casa Vista Verde provided a daily breakfast which rivaled any 4-star restaurant in the states. The house is amazing but it’s really second place to the staff.
Ana, Jocelyn, Hector, Neptali, and saida gave us the best service we’ve ever had!
Our only true regret is only booking one week, you need at least two or three here. Vista Verde is an amazing experience thru and thru.
Do the mangrove tour! LF, USA, July 18
Max loved playing with Hailey, the dolphins and the sloths! We loved the food, beautiful views and just relaxing. It was wonderful having fresh seafood. We don’t have many options in north dakota. Highly recommend this villa and staying here for every meal your staff is amazing.
We had an amazing time! We got to see dolphins, monkeys and sloths, we got to jet ski, ride horses, snorkel and fish.
Also- the food was amazing! My favorite was the quesadilla. So cheesy! We also really liked the ceviche, lobster, grouper, barracuda and the skewers. Muchas gracias for the amazing week.
Thank you, we loved everything i had an awesome time. My favorite meal was the waffles. Thank you!
Came all the way from ND and was well worth it. Great food, fishing, snorkeling, and hospitality. Thanks for everything!. CE, USA, July 18
Great house superbly staffed!
Just spent a week here – 2 families with children ages 4-10, all ages had a blast – the property is on the other side of the island so once you get there, be ok with settling in – once you do, you’ll love it as the staff there is super friendly fun and will attend to anything you need or want to do Diving is of course world class and right in your backyard – also do the mangrove tour with Ana – very unique to the island Overall greatness.
